We were visiting her Grandma and Grandpa for a couple days & so she invited her cousin Bailey to have a sleep over the night before. As soon as she woke up, she wanted to open presents. She had been so excited for her birthday for months. Her teacher at school said usually during writing time she didn't have much to write about, but she wrote up a storm about her birthday.
They had so much fun playing they didn't even eat breakfast. Then for lunch, we went to McDonald's and let them play on the toys for almost 2 hours. They had a blast.
Hannah's kindergarten teacher gave me a recipe for a vegan chocolate cake (and thus, no milk or eggs in it). I was not very hopeful that it would turn out, as every other year we have had to make a rice krispy cake. To my amazement, the cake was WONDERFUL. It was fluffy, moist, really good! I was quite proud of it.
